First Cool Relic and Real Silver

So, I live in Hamilton County Nebraska and everywhere I try to detect just seems so trashy but that's part of the deal I guess. Anyhow, I visited my family in Wisconsin in July and got to detect my wife's Great Grandpa's childhood (dilapidated) home (late 1800's). Pretty trashy, too, but my son found a cool bell (about 3 to 4 inches tall - see pics) using my old ACE 350 and I found my first silver, albeit only a war nickel, with my new AT Max. Pretty special though to find on my family's property.

Then, in August, I was back in Hamilton County detecting just before sundown and scored my first "real" silver - a Barber Dime. I was so excited I just had to share! I love watching videos like the Hoover Boys but sometimes get discouraged when they find all these great things and I mostly find pop cans and bottle caps (which I know they find, too). Anyhow, I share this post to say that it may take a while but if you stick with it, there's still plenty of "treasure" in the ground to discover!
